Grant and Moir opened an Insurance office in Barons in 1910. Glen Gibb purchased Gibbs Agencies, in 1940.  In 1997 Glen's daughter Judie Gibb took over the Insurance business. A second office was opened in West Lethbridge in 2006.  In 2011 Judie retired and Dennis Groenenboom took over the business'. Dennis had 6 years of experience with Gibbs before taking over.  As of July 1, 2012 the Lethbridge and Barons office are now operating as Gibbs Insurance Service Inc.

We offer services such as car, home, auto, and farm insurance, as well as, registries services, fishing and hunting licences. Gibbs Insurance Service offers friendly and informative help, as well as competitive prices using Canadian based Insurance Companies. We are a proud member of the Independant Insurance Brokers Association of Alberta and an Authorized Registry Agent for the Government of Alberta.
