I was born and raised on a mixed farming operation just outside of Picture Butte along with my two younger sisters. I graduated from Picture Butte High School in 1985 and went on to Lethbridge Community College where I completed the Agricultural Technology Program, specializing in irrigation. I spent a few summers running the family farm and working on the oil rigs in the winter, and then worked at a local feedlot for a few years before following my father into the real estate industry in 1994.
